1st negative feedback

Listed an item by copying a very similar one. I mistakenly left 'as new with tags' however quite clearly stated in the bit that i wrote that it was used and worn by gf.
Once the listing was finished when i looked at the item to find the seller i noticed that it had 'new with tags' i imeddiately contact the seller and said its used what do you want to do to which they replied that they would offer me 60% of the offer price, i said no id relist it and cancelled the sale with ebay.
They added negative feedback yesterday with the comment "The item does not correspond to the advertising"
Can i get this removed as it was me that bought it to their attention?

I can't see anything to suggest that would be removable and if you escape without your stars being damaged as well I think you will be even luckier.

Never copy a description , write your own then this is unlikely to happen. Also, have they agreed to the cancellation as until they do you also have FVfs to pay.

I assume you have got buyer and seller mixed up in your post - and they asked for 60% off - not offered you 60% off.

I did a similar thing last week - but i listed the size wrong, forgetting to change the size from the previous item. But thats where out similarties end - as i then ordered a replacement item from amazon - and i am now £20 out of pocket. But my feedbacks intact, and i have not let the buyer down - which i hate doing. Personally - i would have given the discount.

Today i have been messaged from a seller saying he did not mean to give free p&p - and i would have to pay £15. No way hosey - i go the extra mile when i'm the seller - but i am the buyer now - and if i dont get what i have paid for - negative feedback. Simple.

No. I didnt say that. They offered me 60% of the price that they had offered ie the auction sale price.

  • Well I wouldn't have neg'ed the OP. I would have realised that mistakes happen and that they had notified me as soon as they realised = honest reliable ebayer to me.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
