It's not good, 3G data went down Saturday and has been intermittent since they *fixed* it. Not an isolated occasion.0

I don't live in a good area for 3G anyway so that doesn't bother me, but I like that my partner and I can phone and text each other free and I have unlimited data/texts and 4hrs of talktime all for a tenner a month (plus the £10 top up every 90 days).
I have to have a phone line for the internet, but seldom call people thru the day if I can help it because of the cost of calls (even important ones) but I use my mobey now with having so much free call-time
I've never had a phone on contract and I never want to
So to sum up - I would say they are good :wave:0 -
My Wife moved to giffgaff after being with Orange for 10+ years. PAC code went smoothly but it has been a dissaster from that moment. Texts sometimes send and sometimes are received from all of the other networks. the MMS has never worked even though it has been set up to with the precise instructions from the website. I think we will be getting a PAC for another network shortly. Also the piggyback network that giffgaff is using,o2,has been down twice since we switched. Couldn't recommend0

Virgin SIM only (30 day rolling) beat/equal the new giffgaff prices (coming in tomorrow). And allow tethering on all SIM only plans (including the truly unlimited web data deals). And the network they use (EE/T-Mobile/orange/whatever it's called this week) seems far more reliable.

I was on giffgaff before I moved to Ovivo. Giffgaff was OK, but there are problems with the O2 network.
Ovivo is great! No problems with the network (vodafone). Customer service is very helpful and best of all you get a generous free bundle each month: 100 texts, 100 minutes and 200mb.
If you need more than this there are very cheap additional bundles

And if you do topup regularly your free monthly bundle is increased

Why pay more?0 -
