For my dad's 60th I treated him to a ticket to the Chelsea Flower Show. He loves gardening, but I'm less keen and went too and really loved it!MFW 2019#24 £9474.89/£11000 MFW 2018#24 £23025.41/£15000

How about a book of UK pub walks and a pair of walking boots?
Tickets to see one of these retro Rock groups that keep reforming?
An engraved hip flask?
Meal voucher to eat at one of those Gastro pubs?Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
I made my mum a memory jar for her 60th, I decorated a lidded glass jar then asked friends and family to write down any fond/funny/embarassing memories of mum throughtout her life.
I rolled these up into little tubes of handmade paper and tied with ribbon.
She loved it!!!! And all my relatives thought I was a hero!!! ( Brownie points for me!!!)
Good luck deciding what to do x
P.s I put a load of her favourite sweets from her childhood in the bottom - went down a treat!0 -
We paid for my Father in law to drive a steam train on the Severn Valley - He loved it.
We have something fun planned for my dad as well but I can't say what it is incase he reads it on here!!Sealed Pot Challenge Member Number #19060 -
Are there any magazines that he likes? You could get him a year's subscription to New Scientist or Private Eye or something like that, if you think he'd enjoy it.Debt at highest: £6,290.72 (14.2.1999)
