Credit Rating Good but refused for new card

I don't know what the problem is. I have all three credit reports, and i can see nothing wrong with any of them, except CallCredit have got my title wrong on one search. That's IT. Why on earth won't anyone give me a credit card?!

How many applications have you made in recent weeks / months for credit cards or any other credit? This can be very negative to lenders.
Are you on the electoral roll? How long have you lived at your address? Are you using an overdraft a lot? All these make a difference these days to credit card companies

Using an overdraft wouldn't harm the OP's chances of getting a credit card.

Are you on the electoral role at current address?

Have you moved a lot?

Do you have a lot of credit relative to your income?

Do you have a high % of your credit limit used?

Do you have a lot of searches?

We need more info to help you.

Some companies are very picky, and will refuse you on account of there own conditions and nothing to do with CRA's.

Nationwide would be an example.
