Have you left anything in a box that you have yet to unpack? Could it contain something that has leaked or is perishable.Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0

UPDATE:
Having cleaned/checked everything and turned the place inside out to find nothing of note, i was clutching at straws and bought some Neutrodol shake and vac stuff.
Left that on the carpets for a few hours and vac'ed it up. At first the smell was a bit overpowering - but having left it for the weekend when i went away, it smells pretty good (neutral) in there now.
Not sure if its just masking it though. Time will tell i guess.0
