I made my boyfriend an advent calendar - 6 leather pouches - and then either stuff prezzies in or hang them over the string...

All Christmas themed. I like the fact that I can reuse it...

I love pound land -they have some Americian Chocolates and sweets in at the minute.. I also bought him a set of sour shots - they look gross but the kind of thing he would like.. haha

    Stashbuster - 2014 98/100 - 2015 175/200 - 2016 501 / 500 2017 - 200 / 500 2018 3 / 500
    :T:T
  • Love the ideas i just wish I was any good at making things. And when I ask my husband if we can do something different he just says "but I like the chocolate ones"!

Although I love chocolate too, although there is never enough in one day I found the coolest Advent calender idea I have seen yet.

Check out this awesome scented candle one which I just ordered for mum. I accidentally ordered one to many. Guess I will just have to use it myself. Glass of wine and a nice bath with a scented candle coming up. Will be like a prune for christmas...

Saw this in the shops but seemed expensive but nice discount running

  • I bought 2, 3ft christmas trees in tesco in january for £1 each
i got the little voile bags you get from ebay from china, you get 100 for pennies
and i bought each of our 2 daughters socks lots of socks
they both LOVE new socks, so i wrapped a pair, rolled up and into the voil bags, made number tags, popped in a mini chocolate (celebrations) and thats their advent trees for this year

You can create your personalised photo Advent calendar filled with kinder, Rocher or a Raffaello Advent calendar, without glue or scissors.

Today I have bought the following for my 14 year old DS's advent calendar, which is one with teeny boxes:

    Mini flash drive 8gb
Gisela Graham Box of 12 Mini Christmas Tree Decorations
Silver stud earring with swarovski crystal

I've also bought an itunes voucher from Tesco, the code for which has been emailed to me, so I shall cut the paper small enough to fit into one of the boxes - the important part is the code. The amount and the fact that it is an itunes voucher can be hand written on the back of the piece of paper. I will put that one in the box for 13 December as that is his birthday.

I'll also get a net of chocolate coins and will also put some real coins in it.

And I've ordered the Ronaldo DVD for his stocking. Am also tempted to get the Minions DVD when it is released in a few days time :D

I bought a pack of red and white paper bags in eBay and some Christmas number stickers and pegs. I'm going to string them up. I've got:
    Mini nail polish
    Mini toiletries
    Lip salve
    Chocolates
    Individual face packs
    Sponges
    Nail transfers
    Christmas earrings

I just bought the hotel chocolat advent for 2. Not cheap, £26 but for 2 people and so yummy! Can't wait!
  • I made my partner Ferrero Rocher, Raffaello etc filled advent calendar, personalised with her picture. Wouldn't call it cheap either, but it is really nice, don't you think?
