Ebay feedback system

I opened a case against a seller, who,after initally being rude and unhelpful wouldn't respond further to the fact my item hadn't arrived.
I escalated it today to customer support after 3 weeks and within 30 seconds I received an email confirming they had refunded everything I had paid as they had had trouble with this seller too. Checking seller feedback, they have had 7 negs since I ordered my own item.

In order to help others avoid this seller, I too want to neg and write AVOID. But would this leave them freed to give me a neutral? I don't see why my 100% positive record should be tarnished, but I do want to help others avoid.

Advice please:D
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

    Assuming you are the buyer and opened a dispute against a seller then don't worry - Sellers can't leave any feedback other than a positive.

    Yes, I am the buyer. I have never neg'ed anyone before but this seller has been appalling and I just want to help protect others.

    True. Ebay took the option of feedback both ways away to avoid tit for tat. Its still a flawed process but tit for tat will happen and how do you combat this...

    I'm not quite sure I follow? There can no longer be any tit for tat feedback as sellers cannot leave a neg or a neutral.

    They leave false positives with negative comments which will be there until they get removed.

    People don't generally read the comments, merely the score, which will never be anything other than 100% for a person who only buys.
