Rapid reclaim question

Hi everyone,

can anyone advise :

Example; unemployed 24 weeks,
signed friday, worked temp 23 hours sun, mon, tues,(no more work) next sign day 2 weeks ( is it ok to declare on sign day, tried phoning constant engaged or no answer)

would i have to sign off and back on again in the same day (pointless really)

would the hours and earnings be averaged over this period ( 14 day benefit cycle) (which would average 13 hours each week)

or would this would result in rapid reclaim (pointless again)

what effect would this have on all the extra help that i would be getting once been unemployed for 26 weeks or more,, ie job grant, miro, etc

i want full time work not a day here and there, it messes everything up

agencies are just not worth a carrot picking people up and down when it suits them

would appreciate any comments

You need to sign of from saturday then make a RR claim from wednesday.

No you can't just declare and carry on signing, they will not average hours out. Yes will effect other entitlements but since they are stopping anyway.

i don't make the rules, may seem pointless but thats the system I'm afraid.

Is the adviser fully aware how many hours you have worked? Anything over 16 hours in your benefit week and the claim will close once BDC get the A15C and B7.

Yes a lot of add ons are going, job grant, in work credit, return to work credit, other will phase out with universal credit.

yes i did and they said they average the hours and earnings as a over all including sunday workings, i fell out of work last september 11, found a job in march 12 only lasted 11 weeks so entered a rapid reclaim in may 12,
then done the 23 hours as previously stated for a agency then no more work, so all i have done for the whole period is as said before
still i have got appointment that i requested for tomorrow so hopefully i will get to the bottom of this matter

    many thanx
