Car Insurance- Stolen Car. MOT expired, Previous claim forgotten!! HELP

    I agree, I think the scrutiny is due to the theft occuring 3 weeks after the policy was taken out, although he has lived in the same house for 30 years and never had a car stolen from their!!
    LOL, yes it was def there!! as forgetful as he is!

    Sorry is FOS the financial ombudsman? and what is DPA?

    He does not, and no other driver on the policy, have any other claims or convictions.

    A car not having an MOT flags up a claim on the basis that a lot of peoples cars get "stolen" as they can't afford the work to get it through the MOT.

    Insurers tend to be suspicious of all theft claims.
