NRAM PPI Refund

Hello

I recently made a claim against NRAM for loan protection that I had not realised had been added to a 10 year loan. Three weeks ago they sent me a letter offering me just over £4700 in compensation and the information provided states that they pay the claim within 28 days.

It is now 21 days and not money has been received and a couple of days after I sent the acceptance letter back I paid another monthly loan payment including loan protection.

If NRAM don't pay up by next Wednesday another loan payment including protection will most likely be taken from my account as I've had no information to tell me how much a recalculated loan payment will be, or if it stays the same, by how much the duration of the loan will be reduced.

Question is, do I call NRAM if another payment comes out of my account and ask to make another PPI claim as I am still paying the loan protection?

Any advice is gratefully received.

Thanks

G

As you've had an offer (and accepted it), you can now confidently cancel your PPI. You should also ask for the last payment you made to be refunded as part of your redress (when it arrives).

How long did it take for your cheque to come in the end? I have now been waiting for 23 WORKING days
  • Well 28 WORKING days have now passed and still no cheque from NRAM!! I called last week and they assured me I would have it by today. Called today to be told that the request for the cheque was only raised on the 27th November and can take 10 further working days!!! Bare in mind they recieved our signed acceptence on 26th October. This is my xmas shopping money!
