Am I going mad or has something disappeared?

Did something happen to the thread about the son pressurizing his mother to leave her home? I know it rambled well off the subject but does that mean it has to be removed?
Please tell me I wasn't imagining it!

The poster was a troll IMO.0

Really? Nobody suggested trollism at the time did they - and it must have had about ten pages or so.0

I decided just to stay away from it -- suggesting trolling doesn't always help -- there was certainly some trolling within the thread.
But posts do disappear for other reasons, and threads too. And now I think about it, I realise another long thread begun by someone who may not have been a troll, but that contained some trolling and a lot of unpleasantness, disappeared.
It's a bit of a pity as there are always really useful posts in such threads.0 -

I dipped in and out of the thread but didn't post.
I last read the last few posts a few days ago and they seemed to ramble on about blocks of flats in Glasgow (complete with photos) - no idea what that had to do with the original post so I didn't red any further.0 -
Probably deleted as it had gone very, very far off topic......................I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)0

I too am a little dissapointed the thread was removed.
I hadn't updated the thread as I hadn't anything further to add.
I was waiting to see what developed and was going to update at a later date once we had some resolution....
