I think this private v public sector !!!!! fest is a distraction from the real inequalities/unfairnesses of Britain. We are a class ridden society. Access to privilege and power is closely linked to opportunity and there is nowhere near enough equality of opportunity. Look at the make up of the current cabinet. That is no accident! I get so frustrated that many people don't care or that this doesn't matter to them. By all means rant against the benefit cheats and public sector pensions.....but those issues are also useful to the ruling elite as a distraction to keep us all fighting amongst ourselves. Its always been the case and I fear always will be. That's why I loath the tories. They are so good at sowing discontent; they appeal to our prejudices about....benefit scroungers, immigration, the EU, the unions etc. They press those buttons whenever they need to. The classic divide and rule strategy. They don't look for a consensus or look for the positive qualities or the best in people. They rule by appealing to our fears!
