Hi.
Called the DWP in regarsds ro a esa claim. they wont tell me if i have passed or what group im in. Did say ib runs out on x date and did say at start money should be ok. but still would not tell aa decision.
he said letter would be sent out , and when asked when he gave anytime up to x (date of next i.b payment if it didnt run out).
how do i find out if it is ok, before my money does not turn up in bank
thanks

I believe that if it is a changeover that you should still continue to get IB until the decision letter comes through. The person you spoke to should have advised this. After all it is not your fault that they are tardy in dealing with all this is it?0

hi
it is now only a few days to when my ib should be put into my bank, as said before when i phoned esa they said ib stopped last payment.
I called dwp they said letter to be sent, still not arrived
i called dwp for a report on my medical , guy was so unhelpfull, again no report.
Do i just have to wait with no money if it doesnt go in until the letter arrives, nobody wants to tell me what is going on at the dwp.
what should i do now

Call the Jobcentre contact centre again and request a call back from the local benefit centre that processes your ESA claim, a call back should be made to you within 3 working hours. There is no reason why you cannot be told on the phone the decision that has been made, the date it was made and which ESA group you have been placed into (I do this for clients regularly) and you are entitled to request and receive a copy of the medical report (ESA85).
If the above does not happen then make a written complaint about the poor customer service you have received.0
