Am after getting lovefilm for a few months while gf recovers from a big operation, but dont fancy the trips back and forth posting DVDs back to them. The streaming option they do, how would I get that on my tv? I have broadband (virgin) but no consoles etc connected to the tv that will allow Internet access, is there any way of getting love film on my standard LCD tv (not a smart TV)
Cheers in advance

Yep, the only way you'll be able to get it (without buying new kit) is to connect your laptop/pc to the TV, then play lovefilm via your laptop/pc.0

I would check there is enough of interest in the streaming site, the new releases seem to be disc only...This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Agreed, for stream only netflix is a lot better. Still doesn't solve your problem though.
As said, either laptop/pc to tv or buying an internet enabled device with the netflix app.0 -
You should maybe check the cost of movie channels (or rental?) from Virgin Media since you have that available too.0

I have Lovefilm with discs posting.
Its not an issue for posting for me as I go past a post box almost everyday. Plus it gives someone to decide which film/tv series boxset I am going to watch next.
I have 91 films on my list from the 1940s to present. Out of these, 10 are available online. I like watching the extras on the discs, which you don't see online.0 -
PM'd you. May be of use.0
