Ive used kies or tried and my pc hasn't crashed but its still crap software. Your not tied to using kies though, you can use airdroid to put music onto your phone. As to why the PC crashes I cant answer, have you installed the correct update for kies and from samsung themselves ?
Only really need to use kies to update the phone.
Retailer isn't liable, samsung could be but why bother when your not stuck to using kies and there are alternatives.0 -
