transferring funds from paypal

My paypal account is getting a bit full, and I thought I'd better move some money from it. So I tried to withdraw some last Sunday. Now the only account linked to the site has been verified by paypal, and this was done by transfering some random amounts into it. So I know that paypal can move money to this account.
Well I had a look today at my account, and no transfer. That doesn't surprised me, I would expect it to take an age (why it isn't instant is beyond me, this is the internet age). What worries me, is there is no record in my paypal account. The amount is the same as it was before, there is no evidence I attempted a withdrawal.
I don't want to try again, and build up fees I've never heard of. I was just wondering if this was normal, or have I made a mistake? Should I try another transfer?

If you had tried & it failed, Paypal would email you & tell it has been reversed.
Are you sure you've click the final submit button on the review page?0 -
Paypal also do faster payments now- so it might be you that is a bit out of date. However I agree with TKPeters, I wonder if you just didn't click the final confirm button.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I was certain I did, but now I'm beginning to doubt myself. I think my best bet is to leave it a week. I don't need the money at the moment, but to be frank, I have more faith in the security of my bank account, than paypal. Then if nothing has changed, give it another go.0
