AA ISA change of interest question

Options
In April 2012 I opened an AA online ISA account. The interest rate was 3.5%. This was an easy access account.

I have looked on the AA website and it says their internet ISA rate is now 2.7%.

Is this only for new ISA accounts that get opened? Or has my interest rate been reduced to 2.7% (suggesting I should transfer to somewhere else?)

Thanks.

  • [Although having checked on the AA website, it refers to the 2.7% account as a Postal ISA. Mine is available online. Perhaps a different account altogether?]

Look at the interest rates page, under 'accounts no longer available'.

I suspect you have the AA Internet Access ISA (Issue 3).

If you sign into your AA internet banking and open the account, in the details it will tell you what the current interest rate on your actual account is. I opened one in April 2012 as well, it was Issue 3, and mine is currently showing 3.50% as the rate.
