Taking a still picture from a DVD

Hi

Is it possible to take a still picture from a DVD? I have a DVD taken on holiday and would like to print out a picture from it?

Any ideas please - in plain english if possible!

When you play the DVD on your computer, which program does it use?
Is it Windows Media Player?

Yes - it plays in media player

Well press ALT+Printscreen when you get to the correct scene.
(ALT is on bottom row of keyboard, Printscreen is on top right of keyboard)

This will put your picture on the clipboard.

Then open a program such as 'Paint' then press Edit and Paste.
Then save it.
