Problem with sky e-mail

Hi there
My mother has gone onto sky broadband and is having problems with her e-mail. When she tries to go into the mail - puts her username and password in, the screen looks like it is going into the mail, but when the activity bar at the bottom of the screen gets to 100%, the page doesnt change - e-mail doesnt open.
She has rung Sky who have tried to do it from their end (successfully). They have suggested that its probably a problem with her browser, and advised her to download firefox and try that. She did, and it worked once, but now has gone back to the original state (ie she cant get into it).
Any ideas out there? Apologies for the second hand scenario!

It may sound daft but if she goes to the mysky website and logs in there with her broadband username and password the email will start working.
Did for me and a few others.
I got a copy of a Sky CS email try this:
° Go to Sky.com - Home
° Click 'login/register'- top right of page
° Click 'password help' (do not enter username at this point)
° Enter 'username'
° Click 'Next'
° Enter security question, answer (usually Mothers Maiden Name)
° Create new password (password must be between 7 and 12 characters with at least 1 number and in lower case)
° If does not accept, try numerous times
° Click 'Next'
° You should get confirmation of new password
° Once this is completed, click ‘My Sky’ tab within sky.com
° Click ‘My Sky Profile’
° Log in with username and (new) password
° Click ‘View My Sky Profile’
° On the bottom right hand side, click ‘Edit’
° If you wish a new password, enter here and update information which is unpopulated i.e. place of birth etc.
° Click ‘Submit’
Now your profile will be saved with the new information and you will be able to log into Sky Broadband - HomeThat gum you like is coming back in style.0
