    Hi there.

Have a look at the sticky at the top of the page regarding airport parking - loads of info on there.

My personal experience with parking at Heathrow is that by booking via https://www.purpleparking.com and entering TIPO into the source code box, the price is reduced by half.

  • Many thanks. Any advice for Gatwick parking? Any suggestion regarding staying in a hotel the night before and then get hotel parking? Suggestions and advice please.

Heathrow try https://www.ncp.co.uk with and without code LHR86 this is the closest parking to Terminals 1,2 and 3 situated just above the roundabout prior to the tunnel. Own courtesy bus and they don't move your car.

For Gatwick try Europa Hotel offers parking inclusive deals and normally you can park either at the hotel or they give you a voucher for the on-airport longstay.

Alternatively for either try the brokers:
    https://www.bcponline.co.uk code BN221

Ive used this offer many times staying at Heathrow. They collect your car from the hotel car park and then you ring for the bus when you land. I'm sure they use purple parking.
Smile. Its the second best thing you can do with your lips....

I haven't ever flown from Gatwick so I can only comment on Heathrow.

Last October, myself and my partner flew from Heathrow to New York. The outbound flight was 8.30am so we decided to stay down there the night before. I used Priceline's 'Name Your Own Price' service to get my hotel. I bid £35 (which doesn't include taxes) for a 4* at Heathrow, which was accepted - I got the Sheraton Skyline on Bath Road. The total including taxes came to £45.

I booked parking with Purple Parking, as detailed in my previous post, which was around £18 for 5 days.

I'm flying to Toronto in November and have done the same thing again (I even got the Sheraton Skyline again for the same amount).

for Gatwick, Jordans B&B 5 mins drive away. (https://www.jordansbb.co.uk). stay the night, have lovely full cooked breakfast, £15-£20 per week to leave your car in their large, safe driveway, £5 each way in taxi to the airport. they will even book it for you.

Note that a lot of the big hotel chains offering parking options with an overnight stay have a disclaimer in the small print saying that they are free to move your car elsewhere while you are away. check the small print and ask if necessary where it may go to.

Heathrow, Purple Parking still offering the Tesco Clubcard deal for couple more weeks. Convert £2.50 worth of clubcard tokens into £10 worth of parking tokens. Just converted £17.50 clubcard vouchers into £70 Purple Parking token. 16 days parking end of August now costing us £9.95 (plus the £17.50 vouchers we used). You must convert your vouchers before booking and have to book by 30 April.

    Hope this helps.
