    Hey (was it Rachie?!)

I did a gym job - unfortunately chose a location a bit from me so was a little bit of a hassle. However LOVED the gym and was a really good motivator to go to classes etc - now feel a lot more confident to go to gyms in general!!

Not sure what my fave job has been - would possibly say the Gym or maybe a rather more expensive haircut than i would usually have at Vidal Sassoon!

    keep on shopping

    twas annie fanny :p:D

awww no fair,no lovely hairdressing assignments here for me :( or gyms / health clubs <hmph> :rotfl:

yes you will still get paid dont worry :)

grasroots contact you,you cant search online, like you can with retail eyes,TNS etc

Yep, we'll still pay if you miss out a minor detail like hair colour, so don't worry about that.

Oh, and after Christmas Grassroots will hopefully have a system up and running whereby you can browse (and accept) jobs online.

Remember, if you're looking for work, it's worth calling on the 0800 number. A lady in Wales did just that today and ended up with about four jobs I think - so it's worth a try every now and then. Even if we don't have something instantly available, we'll put an email round saying you're looking for work.

:T excellent thanks for that :)
  • I did my first one last night for Grassroots.

They called me on the offchance as needed an urgent visit so I accepted as it was very near to me.

Only prob was it didn't go as to plan and there was quite a lot I wanted to write on the report but had to limit myself to 255 characters which isn't much if the shop assistant was as useless as mine was.

I mananged to squeeze it in - any tips for the future in keeping to this limit? Is short hand/text speak acceptable in the situations?

I've got a foodie one tonight - my first with TNS and really looking forward to it - so is hubby!

the word limit is quite annoying isnt it ! :( you could always email them / ring them up if you wanted to add more ,speak about it in detail :)

enjoy tonight i love the food ones lol :)

just had a phonecall from a lovely lovely guy @ grassroots asking me to do a job in the next few days but we are off to france !

but he said he will ring me whenever there is work in the area ,so hopefully will get a few more jobs from them :)

Now they have all gone...surely not there was what looked like hundreds...???
That's what happened to me yesterday too! Logged on to RE, saw dozens of jobs, but by the time I booked 2, the rest were gone. Just seems incredible that they went within seconds...

Am doing one today so that'll be fun, hanging around for 45 minutes. :rotfl:

Did two bank ones yesterday and they were fine. One of them only took about 10 mins :D

Dormouse - I know! I couldn't believe it. That doesn't usually happen does it? I checked those jobs as well and they were going everywhere london, leeds, birmingham etc. I managed to get 2 to.

The brief says approx 45 mins but I guess it depends on the size of the store. The ones near me are little neighbourhood ones. Did you read the bit about how they will check the CCTV!!

They dissapeared because RE will only let you take two jobs at a time, they're probably still there for somebody who hasn't already taken 2....
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.
