I'm hoping someone can help me with this. Every time I turn on my computor this thing keeps popping up called matchlie or matchie or something like that. I'm not very technical so I was wondering should I leave things be or could someone advise me as to how I should get rid of it. Many thanks

Do you mean Matcli?
Its part of "help" utility that runs in the system tray, usually installed as part of a Broadband install.0 -
Thanks guys I have NTL Broadband Im still not sure (bit of a thickie here with computors) is this Matcli a good thing.0

According to the link Matcli has a relevance to your Help & support & can be removed via 'add/remove' in Control Panel, however this will limit the available help to you. That is why it is left (on the linked site) for you to choose, maintain the level of help as at present or lower it by removing Matcli. I'd be inclined to leave it until you feel completely confident about what you are doing and then get rid of it if you want. It isn't a 'bad' thing, but obviously annoying to you though.0
