Posible get missed payments/defaults removed from credit file?

In 09 / 10 I had a capital one credit card which I defaulted on (young and stupid) which has impacted my credit history a lot and would like to know if it's likely or even possible that they could remove infomation such as that from my credit file?

2 years later I applied for another Capital One Classic card, got accepted, perfect history for 7 months then applied for the Capital One Progress card and got accepted for that to and its been around 4 months since then.

After running 2 cards with Capital One for about a year perfectly do you think they would/could remove some of the negative past and if so how would I go about asking them?

I hope not, it is meant to be a true record of your credit history over the last 6 years. If a shorter period was considered appropriate then everyone would have information dropping off after that shorter period.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

you can have it removed it you can prove / they cant prove you were issued with a default notice / the account was defaulted in error.

However, its difficult and most dont have much success.
