Currently pay £63 per month for dual fuel.
Our current deal is estimating £65 per month going forward and after undergoing a reveiw on their website, the option to fix for one year would bring that down to £62 per month or I can fix for 2 years at £68 per month.
I am happy to switch to paying £5 more per month for the next 2 years, but only if it means the hikes are going to be more than 7.9%.
Any thoughts?

Everyone is saying it is worth changing to a fixed online tariff paying by DD. As for fixing for one or two years on my SP tariff, I fixed till January 2013 with no exit fee's.
No one has a golden ball to see into the future so one or two years is a gamble. The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0
