Poorly Cat

Our 13 yo female cat went to the vets recently for a blood test and the sugar result was on the high side (poss diabetes ?). Anyhow, this weekend she's been very lethargic and not eating much at all. Does this seem connected or coincidence ? Should we see the vet again anyway, asap ? Thanks :)

Cat as per av pic btw !

  • I'd take her back.

I'd also take puss back for a second opinion. When Orbit was diagnosed with renal failure he was also off his food for a couple of days until the diaretic's kicked in & he started to loose the water his little body was retaining.

We've not gone back (yet) as she's brightened up again. The vet had said to switch her to a senior diet - she didn't like it at all and virtually stopped eating over the weekend. So we switched her back - temporarily at least - and she's back to her old self for now :)
