    Morning All
Very foggy here visibility is only a few yards.
No plans really today apart from reorganising my larder.
DS is at college and DH is at work, DD is at her BF's, honestly she might as well give his address, she is there so often.
donnygal. that is such sad news:( 33 is no age:(

halight go to the chemist and get the strongest pain killers that you can get either co-codamol or paracodamol, they might help, and rinse your mouth with salt water as many times as you can, it might help until you get to see someone, there is nothing more painful than toothache, I hope that you get it sorted soon ((((((Hugs))))))
redruby sorry to hear about OH's wrist, try to get him to the doctors, that might give you an hour's peace ;)
If you have an itchy scalp it is probably because the scalp is dry. Rub in some warmed olive oil and wrap a towel around your head and leave for half an hour, then wash your hair as normal.
OH well my DH has just got back in from his shift so he is under my feet too :rotfl:
    BFN x

Thanks for the advice re pain killers. Iv got plenty of them here. Iv been on very strong pain killers every day for nearly 10 years.

Iv been taking al sorts for this tooth. They all work well for a time.
:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j
  • Good morning everyone :)

Never managed to get here yesterday as it was a really busy day with car boot sale, shopping, washing, ironing and batch cooking but I got a lot done so am happy with the results.

Had stuffed peppers for dinner last night but made too much lamb filling so the left overs will become a pilaff with rice and green lentils tomorrow. Beef and pepper casserole in the slow oven for tonight and left over lunches tomorrow. Freezer is overflowing with special offers and whoopsies so should get the rest of the week's meals out of there and keep pay day week very low cost.

Managed to find some lovely jars and bottles at the car boot sale so they will be turned into Christmas gifts with home made goodies inside.

Well wishes to all sick people and pets and hugs for those who need or just want them. Have a super day everyone :)

Morning all, very damp and dull here today. As it's half term took dog and kitten for a walk later than usual and met some other dog walkers who were very amused by the kitten walking with the dog. My sofa day yesterday has cured whatever I was fighting off so now have my mojo back and will follow flylady lists this week. Spent large part of yesterday consoling DD who has broken up with her BF , she initiated it but felt awful because he didn't want to accept it. She seems better this morning. Hugs to all in need esp Halight hope you get the tooth sorted soon. Lou lovely to see you posting can't wait to see the photos. Tiglath hope work isn't too stressful.
Uolypool don't feel daft we celebrate our dog and cats birthdays too, hope he enjoys his day.
Hope everyone has a good day:)

Halight, try some of the really strong listerine mouthwash. Whenever I start to have a sore throat a day of gargling with is always puts the breaks on it!

Shepherds pie for tea made yesterday and plenty of tidying out to do. Want to have my kitchen back by Wednesday! Fingers crossed.
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.

    Morning All

Had a lovely day yesterday. DD, SIL and DGD came for dinner. Had a pork roast from Aldi, really nice. Did all the veg and syrup pudding. It was one of those days when it all went right.

OH went off to work this morning and I am having a lazy day, doing washing and taking my time.
Leftover roast for me for dinner.

Cat hated us yesterday as OH de-fleaed him, so he sulked all day:rotfl:

Arm is a bit sore today.:o

Halight Toothache is the worst pain. Hope it gets sorted soon.:o
Donnygal How awful for your neighbour.

    (((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))) if you need them.

    Morning all,

a wet and miserable day here in the not so sunny West Midlands. Actually its raining quite heavily. Usual household duties are in store for me today and after the weekend ive had. I'm glad to get back to them.

Halight, although ive never had pain in my teeth i can sympathise. My husband had trouble with his in the early years of our marriage down to impacted wisdom teeth and infections because of them. He was in agony and the dentist he was with at the time was slow at referring him to the hospital. I hope something is sorted soon, either that or change your dentist. You cant carry on like this and you shouldnt have to either!

Ive been invited to a school reunion. I dont know how i feel about that yet. I wasnt popular at school but neither was i unpopular. I'll think about it some more. I know my friend really wants me to go but i'm not sure.

Lou, looking forward to the baby photos.

Have a great day all despite the weather :-)

    Hi all

Megan's going home this afternoon,so I've just written her postcard - I have to do one part from us, and the other part as if she's written it.:D It's the hardest part of the dog-sitting job!:D

DG sorry to hear about your neighbour's son; 33 is far too young to be trotting off to the Summerlands.:(

Halight I could weep for you, mate, having just recovered from a mouthful of super-duper ulcers. I hope you can get some relief soon, and open your mouth enough to have the offending tooth taken out if need be.

It is my woofer dogs birthday , yes I know daft but we do slightly celebrate it:o:o. So his sister Betsy will come round later for her present from him (a squeaky bone) and to give him his (a teddy as he really is a big baby). A friend has made them a dog friendly birthday cake in exchange for a coffee and walnut cake from me. Gosh sounds really embarrassing now its down in writing.:o;)
Nothing daft about that - why shouldn't we celebrate furbabies' birthdays, the same as any other member of the family? Happy birthday woofer!:D

Judi fwiw, I'd slit my own throat before I'd attend any sort of reunion.:D Good luck if you decide to go, though.:o

Damh the Bard was playing at the local moot last night, and as always, he was brilliant - he can really drive the BD away, for a short while.:D He's got a new CD coming out in November, so I must go to his website to pre-order it.;)

OS..... erm... I'm holding off on doing the washing til tonight, so that I can put it on the cheaper leccy.:rotfl:
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
