I now owe them arrears and my payment will rise to 326.00 I sent in my payslips each month and asked my bank (think money) to email them my monthly bank statements showing income and bills .
I just don't know what to do my .
Apart from wait until tomorrow to call them .
Today I feel like I've got the courage to go BR

  • I think you are going to have to provide more information to get some help. In particular, the following:
    (1) Why are you in debt in the first place and how much do you owe and to which creditors?
    (2) What were the terms and conditions of your IVA and how much have you paid in total under the IVA and how much remains outstanding?
    (3) Are you in some sort of employment with a regular income?
Debts might seem like a never ending load but your creditors cannot get money where there is no money available. If your creditors took you to Court it would be up to a judge to decide, based on your circumstances, how much you would have to pay. Would not matter if you could only pay £1 a month for the next 500 years if this is all you can afford. Regards and best wishes.
  • Dear whichwaydoIturn,

We're extremely concerned to hear that your IVA is not working for you.

We would like an opportunity to discuss this with you, especially if your health is suffering.

We are here to help and can discuss all options with you, including bankruptcy. Please drop me an email with your reference number (nothing else) to Steve.Hewitt@Freemanjones.com and I will arrange for a member of the team to contact you.

    Thank you.

    Hi

It may also be worth getting a second opinion from an agency such as the CAB as I hear that some of them are getting pretty used to dealing with IVA issues & problems including helping people with bankruptcy if and where appropriate.
