eBay Business posting abroad

Hi guys
I have been an eBay business seller for a little while and now I want to offer items to buyers abroad. Can anyone tell me what I will need to do when posting these items? Are there any forms I have to fill out? At the moment I put all packages in the post box in the evening as I also work full time, would I have to take items going abroad to the p.o?
Any other ebayers have any opinions on whether it is worth opening up listings to overseas?
Thanks

As you are not worried about any proof of postage forms on your UK items, you can carry on in much the same way. You only need to take items to the PO if your scales are not accurate enough or if you want a POP in case of a dispute.
I personally think it is well worth selling overseas, in most weeks over half of my items go overseas and without that market I owuld not do half as well as I do now. I limit my sales to £46 though as I do usually get POPs and standard airmail covers me for loss up to £46.
The postage sticky explains when you need customs forms , you can get a roll of them from the business mail centre if you phone RM.
I don't sell completely worldwide though, most of my items are worldwide apart from all African countries, Russia (temporarily), and Italy. For heavier things I limit it to Europe only as otherwise the postage costs are enormous and the paypal percentage on them mounts up a bit.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
