I'm pretty sure you don't have to specify the department now when doubling up online. Think you just double up £5/£10 etc and spend it within the catagories, unlike instore where you have to. It does make it easier

That is a much better idea, at least it gives you more choice to choose something else if the item goes out of stock.

You can only double up when the Double up exchange is on.

The next one starts on 1st november.

You go onto the normal rewards pages and there is a link to the departments that are in the offer. You choose which department you want i.e clothes, small electrical, etc. and you are emailed a code to input when you order.

They are usually in £10 amounts so if something costs say £19.99 you would exchange a £5.00 voucher for a £10.00 code and pay the other £9.99 by cash.

You can also double up in store.

Two things; firstly the next clubcard voucher mailing has just started to drop on your mats and inside the front cover it lists the dates and departments of this double up from Thursday.

Secondly, rather than spend extra cash another way to beat the £19.99 (or similar) trap is to also buy the cheapest item in your chosen dept. to take spending over the £20 or any other mutiple.

There are also some vouchers for so much off a £40 spend (first is for £6 off) which you should be able to use at the till at the same time (if you are spending over £40 of course).

    HTH.
