Recommendations for holiday parks/lodges in Holland?

Looking to take the car into Holland and hire a lodge for 2ad, 2ch in August.

Budget up to £1k for 1 week for the right accomodation and park.

I know Keycamp offer these sorts of holidays. Any other reputable companies you know of, or small independents local to the area, which have good English!

Thanks

Took the kids to Center Parcs Het Meerdal the last week in August a few years ago and it was half the price of the UK and included half board (you could book meal vouchers at the time of booking). Up the road was a small theme park called Toverland that was practically deserted because the Dutch schools had gone back, my kids thought it was fantastic. Cycling was easy as well, so flat and designated cycle paths.

If the kids like theme parks/water parks have a look at Duinrell in Wassenaar, near the Hague. Free entry to the theme park and water park while you're there, and both are excellent. Go late August for cheaper prices and less crowds.

Hi, i would second Duinrell, we went in August, fantastic everything on your doorstep. Theme Park, Water Park, Town across the road with supermarkets/restaurants, lovely beach by car in a few minutes, or can ride on bike. Also if you wait a book with The Sun you will save a fortune we did!

I've been to one in Zeeland which was very nice. Mixture of cabins, caravans and camping. There were plenty of children about though none in our party.

It was called de Schotsman, and was in Kamperland (very near Middelburg).
We were there for watersports (windsurfing mainly) but the surroundings were very pleasant. An easy drive from Calais. Loads of good beaches - it's amazing how much fun even fully grown men can have simply digging a hole in the sand...

We had a sun priority code, i had no problem booking on line, booked around the April time, and got the last week of the summer holidays, 27th august for 7 days, paid about £170 ish with all the waivers etc. They use Eurocamp, and we got a 3 bed van with veranda, really couldn't grumble at all. We got the overnight ferry which the kids loved and worked really well, so i think the holiday worked about £500 with ferry, couldn't go to cornwall for that!
Also if you do do the overnight ferry, once you arrive at duinrell you can go and book in, and they will give you your passes to go round the park, and try to priortise you van a bit earlier. Let me know if you want more info.

If you book through Sun, is it always a mobile van you get, can you upgrade whilst booking through the Sun website, and if going for 7 days is it Saturday to Saturday? Getting primed and ready for January 2013 round of holidays. Thanks so much!!
