How will me not working affect tax credits?

I hope someone can put me at ease with this?
My employment came to an end on the 19th October (Redundancy notice period), so I will be phoning the tax credits to tell them of the change tomorrow morning.
Does anyone know if the tax credits will go up or down? My husband works 40 hours a week at an annual salary of approx £21,000.
We get the usual child benefit, disability (lower rate mobility) for eldest child.
We get the CTC and WTC element, so will we lose the WTC with me not working?
I plan to go to the job centre and sign on when I get my P45 (which hopefully should be after the 25th of October when I receive my last lot of wages), won't be able to go this week anyway as it's half term. I have a job interview this Wednesday too.
Some advice would be appreciated.

If your husband is working 40 hours a week you will still get maximum working tax credits. Your tax credits should go up a bit since your total income for the year is presumably going to go down. If you get a new job make sure you phone straight away or you will get an overpayment.
Edited to add: you didn't mention Tax Credits for childcare - I think you would lose those if you are claiming them.0 -

Thanks for that. The childcare I've already rung and cancelled that, when I lost my job (I didn't work my notice) I stopped using the school club, as we didn't need it due to me being at home anyway.

Will I be entitled to JSA?
Your entitlement to JSA will depend on whether you have paid sufficient NI Conts in tax years 09/10 and 10/11. If you were working regularly during that period you should be fine.0 -
As your husband earns £21,000 you will not be entitled to jsa.0

As your husband earns £21,000 you will not be entitled to jsa.
Contribution based jobseekers allowance will be payable for a maximum of 26 weeks provided enough NI contributions have been credited in the last two tax years, 2010-2011 and 2011-2012.
Only after 26 weeks will the OP NOT be entitled to Income based jobseekers allowance.
Both types of JSA count as INCOME.
Someone above has already stated this.I have numerous qualifications in Business and Finance, Accountancy, Health and Safety and am now studying Law.

Extra rules for income-based JSA
Usually, to qualify for income-based JSA:
your partner (if you have one) must work less than 24 hours a week
you and your partner should have less than £16,000 in savings
Your income can affect how much you get too. This includes money from savings (over £5999), pensions and your household income.0
