As described on the Investec website

I have had accounts with Investec for years- both the original High 5 and a fixed rate bond. I have always found them efficient and helpful. No complaints to date.
  • Yes, Investec are a good bank to deal with.

I suspect that Punjab will be among the next to cut interest rates, though so far they haven't. I'm glad I got my TD opened when I did.

Anyone looked at savingschampion? - if you're only looking at cash I see they do a cash management service? I use the rate tracker service but not the cash management......so can't vouch for how good it is

I appreciate those gals at savingschampion have to make a living, but why would I pay them £295 a year to check savings rates for me? I'd rather check it myself (it's not exactly rocket science) and buy a new handbag with the £295 I saved

What's their "cash management" service? Can't see it on their website.

I guess so. Looks more like its for people who can't be bothered with the hassle more than anything else. They call it concierge service but looks like a cash management service to me.

ah yes, of course, 'concierge' sounds so much more sophisticated than 'cash', lol. I hope it's lost on use MSEers, though. It certainly is on me.
