Harry potter tour accomodation

We are planning a trip to see HP tour early next year , we will need to stay somewhere for 1 night im fairly flexible re cost.
any recommendations ?

I am taking my grandson's as a surprise to the harry potter tour next week. We are staying at the Holiday Inn Watford Junction, which is apparently round the corner from where we get the harry potter bus to the studio's. Will post next week and tell us how we got on. It is the closest hotel to railway station. It costs £72 for the 3 of us for one night.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Watford Junction with my family in the summer. We didn't go to the HP tour but lots of other people staying there did. We got a really good 2 - 4 - 1 deal on the hotel, if you search this site, you'll be able to find am up to date link. The hotel was great by the way

Hoiliday Inn at Watford Junction is beside the train station and the HP tour bus goes from in front of the train station £2 return fare per person. It also only takes 15-20 minutes direct to get into London (Euston) on the fast train from Watford Junction if you eanted to do a day in London. There are Premier Inns in Watford too and you can often get cheap family rooms there, but would need to drive to the studios. Also the Mecure at Watford and Hilton are not too far away.

An alternative is the Bourne End Services Premier Inn on the A41 just north of the M25 and about 5 mins drive from the studios
