Aqua card activation

Hello all,activated my aqua card this afternoon and tried usng it this evening but got declined.

does anyone know how long it takes for the card to get activated?

AFAIK should be instant,phone them and check the activation went thru?

Thank you very much.I will give them a call in the morning and find out.I thought I had to wait for 24 hours or something.

After I activated my card, I tried to use it and got declined. Rang up again and they said the other staff member didn't do it properly and activated it for me properly. Maybe this is what happened to you.

Same happened to me, activated the card, was told that it was, spent £80 on shopping only to have the card declined and had to revert to Barclaycard. On calling Aqua was told card had not been activated but was done thete and then and I was given a goodwill credit of £10 due to the loss of the 3% cash back. That's what I call GOOD customer service.
