Black & White self adhesive floor tiles - where to get them?

I'm looking to do my kitchen floor in a classic black and white checkerboard style in vinyl floor tiles (see pics for example). I've tried several online retailers, B&Q, wallsandfloors.co.uk etc, but no one seems to sell plain black self-adhesive vinyl tiles. I've managed to find white ones, but mostly everything else is some kind of pattern or stone or wood effect. John Lewis does plain black and white non-adhesive tiles but they seem pretty pricey. I'd prefer the self-adhesive ones as I'm a DIY novice.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Not sure if I've seen plain black ones but look inshore at B&Q rather than online-the range is larger instore.
You could look at lino too,I know you can get the design in that.it's less hassle than self adhesive floor tiles too.Yep,they're easy to cut and lay but don't come up as easily and if you make the tiniest mistake it'll throw it all out. So,I'd go for lino if you wouldn't use non self adhesive due to being a DIY novice!Lino is the easiest floorig on earth to lay,but it can be too easy to cut.If women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0 -
Thanks for the tip! :T I'd wrongly assumed online would have a bigger selection. I'll look into the sheet lino as well.
B&Q has a 20% off sale instore for B&Q Club members this weekend. I was planning to get my self-levelling compound there tomorrow, so hopefully they'll have something in stock floorwise.0 -
Just a quick update in case anyone's interested. B&Q didn't have the vinyl tiles or sheet vinyl I was after in store (at least not my local), but Allied Carpets had some. Then I found this company online - Gerflor http://www.gerflorstore.co.uk - that seems to have good reviews and works out even cheaper. They're sending over a couple of samples for free.
If anyone has used this company before, I'd appreciate any feedback.0 -
