I would love a really nice foody hamper something with all the lovely things that you would never buy for yourself, nice jams, chutneys, cheeses, sweets, crackers etc, not run of the mill but the kind of thing where you faint at the price of it on the shelves.

Another thing that I would really appreciate is a magazine subscription to my favourite magazine, things have been so tight some months that I have not managed to buy it myself this year.

I'm a sucker for children's books so would love a set of books ie the Roald Dahl collection, Michael Morpurgo or a different author!
Would also love the breakfast at Tiffany's boxset. Otherwise clothes always always helps out!
A big thank you to all those who post on the forum and make it a worthwhile place!!!:j

  • 43 year old mum of three, divorced.

I'd like some new slippers, books, Thorntons Viennese chocolates, and a magazine subscription.

I really don't want alcohol (I don't drink, never have, but SIL always gives me booze :(), mixed box of sweets/chocolates (I'm allergic to almonds and avoid all nuts on the doctor's advice), or knickers (ex MIL buys me great big granny knickers  - which I pass on to my mum, who is quite happy with them :rotfl:).
