  • 32 year old Housewife and mum of two girls.

    Paul's boutique bag
    chanel allure perfume
Extra lens for my Sony SLR camera.

However I am just happy to spend it with my little family but if Santa wanted to be extra kind I would not say no to having the above in my stocking ha ha.

25 (26 in 2 weeks), Living with OH, No Kiddies, Accountant

    I'm not sure what I would like.......ummm.....
FCUK Handbag from Boots as I love the bags and the smellies,
    Any other nice handbag
Shoes (I'm a bag and shoes kinda gal!)
Books - New ones from Marian Keyes and/or Patricia Cornwell
A nice pair of flat knee high boots
    A pair of slippers!!
Oh and for OH to agree to start TTC (although I know we need to save up first!!)

I wouldn't really use any other smellies and only shower so bath stuff is wasted, I don't want ornaments as I feel guilty if I don't put them on show but I like minimal stuff out and HATE dusting them!

I have asked for a weekend off for exactly that reason. My parents were quite surprised. They asked if I wanted a weekend off with my OH. I said no. I actually want a whole weekend to myself. Lie ins, lots of reading, glass of wine in the evening, cup of coffee and saturday kitchen. With no one else at all. I'm married with two toddlers if that helps explain it. I haven't had a day/afternoon to myself in almost 4 years. And I'm one of those people that actually enjoy my own company!

AMEN to that!!!! lol And that's from someone with 1 toddler - but I feel your need!!

  • This thread has made me sigh... its so nice to see how many people would like crafting items, sewing machines, baking bits... and books! and time spent with families.. the simple things are definitely the best.

I'd like to have my sisters and their teenage children around for dinner, its not going to happen but that is what I'd like.

I'd love a Kindle (think I'm getting one). One thing I'd really love this year is all the family together but my Dad is working CD and NYE/NYD up in Yorkshire so that's not going to happen. I really want some nice nail polishes as well, I'm a little bit addicted! I love jewellery but getting expensive jewellery makes me nervous and I'm unlikely to wear it :o

I'm really into baking and crafting as well so anything related to that would be nice . Love photography too but I have no idea about the technical side of things :p

One thing I don't want is chocolate or sweets, I don't really eat them any more (trying to be healthier and avoid stuff like that!) and they just go to waste.

    Absolutly nothing I want.

I'm in the lucky position to have/be able to afford what I want and so just get it at any time, but I don't see why other people should waste money on something for me that I probably won't like/want.

If pushed I would want some carrots (for my horses)

What I was given last year is still in boxes
  • fab idea now if you can just get my mum to post on this thread i will love you forever :)

  • Great thread! I hope everyone gets what they wish for :)

I'm 27, married, on maternity leave - mummy to a 5 month old little boy :D

There isn't really anything tangible that I would like for Christmas this year. I would however like it if the following things occurred!

For my little boy to have an amazing first Christmas even though he won't understand what it's all about yet!

To visit our family as they live hours away and we are still saving to buy a car after our last one got written off!

For my husband to be home and not on operational tour/exercise/course/guard duty...at the moment it looks like he will be home but nothing is ever set in stone!
