I have all the shapes and tools at home as I am actually starting my own business but they're pretty simple. Just look for tutorials on Youtube. They have tutorials without cutters as well which are fairly simple if you're craftyWhat's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0

Another option to avoid the unsmooth edges issue could be to go for an alternative finish. E.g. chocolate 'cigars' can be bought (and available in white chocolate)
Alternative fruit could be used dependant on colour theme (e.g. blueberries, strawberries, etc.)

I did ours in buttercream and used chocolate curls to cover over. If you do decide to go down the DIY route practice lots first! I did a local evening cake decorating course which was very helpful, but I'm still rubbish at covering in fondant
. I took lots of cake into work last year! If you search for local sugar craft courses you might find some shops near buy or adult education courses. I found it really helpful to have a professional show me the ropes as it were!

This was ours:
There's a few things I learnt along the way in regards to the 2 sponge layers in the center but other than that it was so simple to make.
Even the roses were easy to makeWhy not do a trial run before the big day?
Okay that is almost exactly how I want my cake to look! I am also making mine, having a severe nut allergy makes it difficult to trust any bakers as they can't gurantee anything.
I adore the roses you did neneromanova, do you have a link to a tutorial for them? The ones I've seen before don't turn out like yours

I just searched YouTube and found this woman who was brilliant. (She has other vids too, this is just the start of a rose.

I tried to make each layer altogether as I thought it wouldn't hurt, but you really do need each layer to dry first. Hope this helps. If you need any help, just PM me and I'll try my best to help you. What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0
