Hi
Can someone please recommend a programme for storing and viewing photos . I have a Fujifilm camera and the programme that came with it "My finepix studio" I find very hard to use, thanks.

  • Two programs I can't recommend highly enough, and both completely free: Picasa and irfanview. Both also have lots of decent editing and printing options, and Picasa has some extra features such as publishing to a web gallery linked to your google account, making collages etc. Another neat trick is that, if you edit a photo in Picasa, it keeps the original in a folder so you can always undo the edit. Irfanview is brilliant for batch operations; resize, rename etc. So I suggest you grab both and see how you get along with them.

    Hope that helps!

  • Photos are stored on your computer and you don't need a program for that. If however you want to organise them into albums then Picasa, amongst others, will do that.

Another vote for Picasa, also handles basic editing tasks.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
