I wonder if they are checking up on how you are living? it could be that the PWC doesn't believe you are both on benefits and has asked them to look into it?0

It could be, but if you are on benefits they can check that, so it would show...!0 -
True. I just wonder if the PWC is trying to say they are living a wonderful life so must have some other income...the other thing that comes to mind is do you have a mortgage OP? if so, it would show on the Land Registry so I guess they are asking how it is being paid?0

No we live in a rented house we get our rent paid and council tax paid so no mortgage..to be honest PWC lives many miles away so doesn't know how we live.
CSA have been fishing though as they mentioned our childrens name on the forms?0 -
I know they can check if child benefit is being claimed at an address which is how they got your children's names - but that goes in your favour, you have nothing to lose by them knowing you have children.
The housing thing is odd. I would give them a call to see if they can shed any light - let us know how you get on.0 -
Is your case definitely on CS2? The sort of things that they're asking are generally for CS1 cases (ie NRPP income and housing costs). How long has the case been open for?
What is the form that they've sent you? (At the bottom of the page it should have a reference, ie CSF808).0 -

It says CSA191A at the bottom but handwritten on both pages it says CS2 underlined that's why I thought it was CSA2.0 -

Hmm, I'll see if I can check on monday.
Is there a case reference number? (Probably 12 or 14 characters long). If that begins with 321 then I think that is something that might show it as an old rules case. Do you know roughly how long the case has been open for?0 -
It does sound like a CSA1 case as that's not asked for for CSA2 cases. Why would somebody handwrite CSA2 on it though, even if it was CSA2???
I wouldn't imagine it was to do with them looking into how you live either as I thought that would only be done via variation (given they're enquiring about housing costs etc) which the pwc would have to provide evidence for and that would be under 'lifestyle inconsistent with income'.Also,I'd guess the variation process is much the same as the departures process in that the form completed by the other party is forwarded to you so you know and can respond?
When was the case opened? If women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0 -
He hasn't gone through the CSA in years when he was it was a flat rate £5 but he was sending cash (I know stupid no trace) to the PWC, this was up to recent when I had my second child and her Child Tax credits stopped for her oldest child (not my husband son) Now we think she thinks that she can get a lot more money from us as we get a lot in child tax credits.
No he gets DLA so doesn't work at all. I am a stay at home Mum and get Carers allowance.
I'm also just applied for Income Support as I didn't know that I could get it with Carers Allowance. This is only though recent so we could have 2 years back dated money to pay.
Luckily your husbands' 'disability' does not stop him from producing babies, but even more babies that he can ill afford??
Not to mention the 24/7 care each child needs and you being unable to provide/work for them because you have to also care for your disabled husband and living on benefits!
Why would you put yourself in that predicament?
No wonder his ex is trying for some decent maintenance, I bet she is fuming with £2.50 per child, per week.0
