    It just seems wrong.

It's a large music charity, that we're supplying at cost +20% + VAT (so about £43 an hour). Commercially we're about triple that

I know for sure that we were the cheapest offer, and I also know that being directly involved with the charity, we're more likely to do the job properly.

Sorry comment above may have come across wrong. If its all declaired and above board and at a price point that's not Commerical like your rate it shouldn't be a problem.

But the sarbot thing looks like there creating the charity to create the market - why aren't the RNLI or Fire and Rescue being sold these if there is such a potential life saving opportunity.

We have been trying to sell to the Fire Brigades for nearly 3 years now, in fact is was them who asked us to develop the concept. Austerity seems to be the reason they no longer wish to purchase. This would have been be our preferred place of deployment. The RNLI are surface rescue only

Last time I looked, the Fire Service was a surface rescue organisation too.

Thank you for your response. It still looks like you company would benefit from 10 million in sales if you managed to set up these teams. If its so good why haven't the Rnli/fire and rescue bought into it - why does it need all those teams all those volunteers and all that money, which maybe taken away from other existing charities in the areas?
