Internal Doors - Random Size

I have just brought my first flat...and one of the many problems I have come across is that the doors are a strange size. I have took off all the internal doors as I want to replace them. Only to find that each door is 80inches by 33inches. All companies I can find only have 78 x 33 or 80 x 32..

Any ideas on where I could get the special size doors I need...and if so what sort of prize I would be looking at?

My local Jewsons branch has supplied my barn conversion with over sized doors from PREM DOOR. They were not very expensive and some of them were made to size for an extra £5. I do have an account, so it may be in your interests to open one with your local builders merchant.

Are you planning to paint them?

If you can’t get them the correct size, you could buy the 80 x 32 and add a ½ inch strip each side.

Or get 78 x 33 and add 1 inch top and bottom.

Do the job properly and it should look OK.
