Hi, can anybody help me here because I have the world (Internet) at my fingertips and no matter what words I type into google I just cannot find out what I need to order.
It is in the bottom of a shower screen, in the gap, a furry like stick on strip that I guess is a bit of a water sealant. They look a bit icky with age and usage
Help please?

this was the first one that came up on google. I'm NOT recommending this company!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Wow ... thanks for the speedy replies!
No, its not a plastic screen. Its a strip of something that I assume you peel the back off and stick on and then the other side is like a fabric mat thing that turns furry over time with limescale and age and water damage.
I feel so inarticulate tonight, I wish I had a photo of the old one.
The screen surround (metal) has a small gap running along it inside (maybe 3cm wide) and it fits inside of that along the length of it.
Is that any clearer?0 -
I'm in the big city valli! just chilling watching reruns and bimbling around here. Doing surveys as well...yeah it's pretty dull:)0

I'm in the big town - up the A61;) Get down your way occasionally though. I can recommend an excellent cafe in Alvaston;)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

I wouldn't call 3cm a small gap. Use the link I posted earlier -there's a set of links on the left hand side - try some of those
OR
post a picture of your shower.
