Hi all - we purchased a vauxhall zafira last week and all good apart from one wee niggle. Every time I adjust the clock time and come back to car it keeps going back an hour. Can change date etc and it saves it. Just the problem with clock .... any tips? - really irritating.

Sounds like a weird one, if you tune into an RDS station on most vauxhalls, the clock sets automatically.

Do you have the manual with the car?
Sounds like the clock needed either setting to pick up the rds, or taking off it and setting manually.

    Which display is it?
The simple clock and radio station, or the trip computer?

It'll probably be setting by GPS, rather than rds.
You can select this by holding down both buttons above the display, then select auto correction from the menu.

Not necessarily, only if it was the Nav version, Vauxhall do 3 different screens for Astra, Zafira and Vectra 'C', I'm assuming we're talking about the Astra 'H' based Zafira, you get a basic screen giving Radio info and date on the lower models, next up is a screen which gives additional trip computer information and on high end you get the Nav system which gives you an enhanced screen, Sat Nav and a more advanced board computer (this was also available as an extra on lower models) Only the Nav models would use GPS.
I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world

    Could be.
Although rds tends to be correct after the signal is picked up, or not at all. Only the gps system could be an hour out normally though, depending on the settings.
