  • Hi, I have been into the shop today and ordered the 12 hampers for £90, each hamper is to the value of £30, I am able to have them all together and am going to pick them up during the first week of December so will try and post a picture then. The company is run by a very nice couple.

I have ordered this deal http://www.thenorfolkhampercompany.co.uk/chocolate--sweet-hamper-deal-1299-p.asp for 2 choccy and 2 sweets hampers. I'll post a pic when it arrives, because you can't really see the sweetie one from the picture on the website.

  • Email them, they are very quick in responding and answering questions.

My sister has brought a hamper from them and is very happy with the hamper and service provided.

I am picking mine up from the shop at the beginning of December and i can then give you my personal review but so far i can say that the email and phone communication has been excellent.

Well my order for the sweetie and chocolate hampers has arrived (I asked for it to be sent early) and my children's eyes are on stalks! I'm feeling a bit mean about giving them all away to be honest, and have allowed them to pinch one thing. Eldest has never seen giant parma violets before, and is currently bragging on facebook :D

The sweetie hamper is worth less than the galaxy one in my opinion, because the sweets could be bought quite cheap if you know where to look, but you could add extra sweeties if you wished. One of mine had 399g and the other had 457g. They have slightly different contents but it says that on the website. One has a lipstick lollipop and the other has a whistle one, for example. They have those old tattoo bubble gums which had a little tattoo inside the wrapper! They are packed in tissue paper and the whole thing is very exciting when you open it up so it's an excellent present and still worth the £13.75 each when you split the £50 plus postage into 4.

The little hampers are lovely and are well made - they don't feel cheap. They're 30cm x 17cm x10cm I reckon. My eldest shops in Poundland when he goes to college, and is frugal and moneysaving, but he didn't believe me when I told him what I'd paid. He reckons the galaxy hamper looks really expensive (so hopefully his girlfriend will think so too).

The only thing I might have wished for would be something to say they were bought from the Norfolk Hamper Company - just a sticker to seal the tissue paper would do, although I suppose we'd all ruin it by peeking inside before we gifted it. Maybe a little card for us to write a gift message, which has the company details printed on the other side? While the food hampers make it clear where they have been bought there's nothing to suggest that I didn't make these up myself, which is not a problem but it would be a nice touch.

If I walked past a shop or stall selling these at £15 or even £20 for the galaxy one I'd buy them. This is an excellent deal.

    Photos to follow.

EDIT - this is the hamper, with dimensions http://www.thenorfolkhampercompany.co.uk/12-inch-hamper-faux-leather-1036-p.asp

Mine, haven't been delivered yet but I asked for the 25th November. Maybe try giving them a call or try tracking online.
