in IVA & DRO
Evening all :j
I finished paying my IVA in August (woo!) and have recently acquired the £2 credit reports from Experian and Equifax. Both show broadly the same data in that they register the date of the IVA.
This is where I get confused ...some would say they are surprised it took me so long...:o
I had a bank loan, overdraft (with the same bank), credit card and two store cards. The three cards all got sold to Max Recovery who, to their credit have never done anything other than send the statutory statement of account for each once per year.
None of the three cards appear on my credit reports ~ which I'm taking as a good thing and correct as the IVA date was XX September 2006 and they may have had the correct default date of XX/09/06.
The Bank loan and overdraft, however, do still show. The loan has a default date of 02/03/07 and the overdraft 04/11/06. They both show as 'satisfied' with a partial settlement date of 11/2009.
Sorry if this is a stupid question (which will undoubtedly have been answered a billion times on here already), but am I right in thinking the default date should really be XX/09/06?
I am tempted to leave the overdraft one as it is if it will drop off in November anyway, and in some ways, as I don't want credit, February 2013 will be here before we know it too.
Second stupid question... they will drop off according to default date not 'partial settlement' date won't they?
I don't anticipate receiving my completion certificate until March at least, as GT have said it will take six months to sort, so I know that's still going to show.
Thank you in advance for your replies and for your patience.
