Free Credit Report For Capital One Credit Card

I was recently accepted for Capital One credit card which comes with two free Equifax credit reports every year. But I already have an Equifax account which I used to order £2 report now and then. Do I need to apply for another Equifax account through Capital One link to qualify for the free reports? Has anyone successfully upgraded their existing Equifax account to receive the free credit reports? Many thanks.

I did this a year or so ago. I don't think I had to set up a new Equifax account.0
