hello
is there any particular website which informs you with regard to import restrictions of various countries? i have a friend who wants to sell an antique (real) skull from his dentistry days, but before listing i thought it wise to check, say, if the usa or australia or france etc allow such things to be posted there - but can't find a simple link via google. any ideas from clever folk here?
best wishes

Sorry no particular advice here but maybe better to sell only to the UK (or at least try it first) before exploring it further.
Alternatively you could just check out the customs rules for some key places (like USA, Canada, Australia) and restrict selling to them if it's allowed. You would likely find a buyer among those.
Or, just add a disclaimer to the listing that buyers need to carefully check their own customs rules before buying."So long and thanks for all the fish" :hello:0 -
The Royal Mail website has some country specific information on this page:
http://www.royalmail.com/small-medium-business/international-business/using-international-services/delivery-other-countries/countries-a
You have to pick a country from the A-Z list then scroll down on the resulting page there are lists of prohibited and restricted goods for as they put it 'most commonly mailed countries'. Alternatively the pages make mention of the Universal Postal Union who also have information here:
