in Credit cards
I have recently received a letter from cap 1 saying that i have had premium payments on my cc for 10 years and are details still correct. It has my job as unknown , when in fact i have been in the nhs for 15 years. I have never, ever taken ppi out in all my financial history, so i know that i never agreed to this. Is it worth persuing or is it my own fault for not noticing before now.

Yes, it is worth pursuing it, if you think it was mis-sold to you then you could be entitled to a refund of any premiums paid IF it was mis-sold.
Have you got your original credit agreement?
Do you pay it off in full each month or do you usually have a balance owed?0 -
no i dont pay it off in full unfortunately. I dont have the original credit agreement either. I do remember them asking me if i wanted the ppi over the phone and i said no it wasnt needed. I honestly thought the insurance premium on it was attached to the amount owed not a ppi.0
