well i have 2 desktops and 1 laptop.

The problem is i want them all to have internet.

Neither of the desktops have wirlesss cards or anything, but the laptop does.

What will i need to buy to make both the desktops work with wirless.

Btw one desktop is upstairs and one downstairs.

Can someone give me the links to websites.

A wirless router like netgear or summing.


Or i mite move to bethere internet, then would i need a usb adaptor or summing?

You'll need 1 wireless "G" router (with built-in ADSL modem if you currently connect tthrough a telephone line)

One PC should (preferably) connect to the router by ethernet cable and (ideally) be situated next to the router.

The other PC will need a PCI wireless "G" card, or a plug in USB wireless adapter.

Set up the router using the wired connection first, then follow albertross's recommendations in post #2 on securing the network.
